Not only tennis players suffer from elbow tendinitis!
The pain may be felt on the medial side of the elbow (medial humeral epicondylitis or golfer's elbow) or the lateral side of the elbow (epicondylitis or tennis elbow). Various physical (bracelet, physiotherapy, etc.) or pharmacological (anti-inflammatory drug, steroid infiltration, etc.) treatments are usually effective.
Exceptionally, when microtears at the origin of forearm muscle tendons become an ongoing source of pain, a surgical detachment is necessary to allow stable healing of the tendon to the bone (epicondylian or epitrochlean release).
