Born in Montreal, graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke in physical-activity in 1990, graduate of the same university's Faculty of Medicine in 1994.

Training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Montreal from 1994 to 1999. Fellowship of specialized upper limb reconstructive surgery and sports medicine at the University of British Colombia in Vancouver, 1999-2000. University practice at Maisonneuve-Rosemont hospital as a clinical assistant professor of the University of Montreal in the Édouard Samson Orthopaedic Surgery Program from 2000 to this day. Associate member of the Pierre Legardeur hospital from 1999 to 2005. Associate member of the Santa Cabrini hospital from 2006 to this day.

Over 10 years of clinical expertise in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow and knee, as well as reconstruction of the shoulder, knee and elbow. Sports medicine arthroscopy coordinator for the orthopaedic surgery program of the University of Montreal since 2000. Orthopaedic surgeon of the Carabins, the University of Montreal's football team, orthopaedic consultant for the CEPSUM university teams. Active member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association and the Association d'Orthopédie du Québec.

Fields of practice dedicated to sports related injuries, as well as work involving the knee, upper limbs, shoulders and elbows. Coordinator of the training workshops for University of Montreal arthroscopy residents. Associate coordinator of continuing education arthroscopy workshops and training courses at McGill University, on a yearly basis for the orthopaedic surgeons of the province of Quebec and Canada.
